Neurotoxins, such as Botox and Dysport, are used to temporary relax the muscles that cause static lines on your face. Most often used in your “11’s", “forehead lines”, or “Crow’s feet”, but can also be used in the lips to form a subtle pout, or take away a gummy smile. In addition to the face, neurotoxins can be used for hyperhidrosis, or “excessive sweating” in the axilla, and around the hairline. The results from Botox or Dysport usually last 3-4 months, depending on dosage and where injected.

Dermal fillers are used to add volume back to the face where loss of fat or bone has occurred, or to create the perfect lip. Dermal fillers are made from hyaluronic acid, which is naturally in our bodies, and are made to resemble our own composition of “HA”. Most often used in lips, cheeks, marionette lines (smile lines), and the chin. Fillers last anywhere from 6 months to over a year, depending on where injected.

Sculptra has long been a favorite of injectors! It is a biostimulator and works fantastic for fine lines and wrinkles, and areas of depletion in the face, as well as stimulate collagen in areas of loss over time. This product is a “go-to” for sagging areas of the face, and can be used for jowling in the jaw, by acting as scaffolding in the treated areas. Sculptra is a biodegradable product and will absorb in approximately 2 years time. Depending on where used, two sessions are recommended, with an annual touch up.
